We spent the 4th this year with one of Evan's now former co-workers Cree and her family. Evan has known Cree for about 5 years and it was fun for me to get to know her and her family more. It was a blast and the perfect environment for families with kids. They had an awesome pool, trampoline and the most fireworks I've seen in a long time. We also could see the Buchanan fireworks from their house which was a bonus. I had an "ah hah" moment with Alek. He was the littlest kid there and to see him hang with the big kids and the confidence he had in trying new things like swimming, jumping on the trampoline and fireworks made me realize what a kid he really is.
